Helping to teach young women to be leaders by providing the resources needed to empower them. By helping them to know who they are and what they are capable of will provide them to be skills to be powerful in their community.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
AND PARTNERSHIP
Our Annual School Supply Drive held every summer is geared to putting a smile on a child's face with a new book bag and school supplies. We reach out for supplies to the community and collect them to send to our international partners. We have collected for schools and orphanages in Haiti and Guyana. Our 2018 drive will start from June 1 - July 28.
The way to achieve your own success is to be willing to help somebody else get it first!

ANNUAL SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Exposing our girls to community events that will raise their awareness to being good citizens. Creating partnerships that helps our girls to be part of special projects, fundraisers and other events that will be build character and greater understanding of being part of social action and change.

THEME-LED DISCUSSIONS & WORKSHOPS
Teaching our girls to become self-advocates who empower themselves while positively influencing their peers by creating safe spaces and facilitating workshops that bring supported discussion and sisterhood.
SHOE DRIVE WITH CARING FRIENDS FOR THE CHILDREN OF HAITI, INC.
In 2016, we partnered with Caring Friends for the Children of Haiti, Inc. collecting shoes to be sent to a school in Haiti. Girlz Powered Up!, Inc. donated over two dozen pairs of shoes for this cause.
MEET A NEW YORK CITY ROCKETTE!
Girlz Powered Up! partnered up with former Radio City Rockette, Nikol Peterman by visiting Jazz It Up! Studio of Dance and talking to their students on being Nikol's experience as a former Rockette and professional dancer.
